Monthly Letter - December 2014

December 2014

Dear Parents:

This winter month of December is filled with exciting things for the children to learn about and enjoy. The festivities of the holidays bring joy and warmth that envelop both your child’s home and school lives.

AT SCHOOL:

We will continue our celebration of “My Home and Family” this month. Of course, we will also be celebrating all of the December holidays which include Chanukah, Christmas and Kwanzaa. We will talk about how different people celebrate these joyous holidays as well as participate in many fun art, cooking and learning projects. In addition, we will begin planning our holiday party.

AT HOME:

Music and singing are wonderful ways to communicate our feelings, and we often have many feelings this time of year! When singing festive holiday songs, encourage traditional songs as well as new ones!

REMINDER:

Our last day of school will be December 19th. School will reopen on January 5th of the New Year.

We look forward to sharing the joys and wonders of this holiday season together.

Have a joyful December!

Sheri, Miranda, Fabi & Bethany
