Today we introduced our new month of December. We will engage in lots of fun and exciting activities surrounding the holidays this month! Before changing over the calendar, we counted the number of sunny, cloudy, rainy and snowy days in November. Take a look below to see what we discovered:
We're getting ready to redecorate our door for the winter months ahead. During art we painted with bubble wrap, that's right, bubble wrap. It was messy and our hands were full of paint but it sure was fun! We used the colors blue, white and purple. Ms. Sheri also added some decoupage and silver and blue glitter to make the background sparkly. This is what it looks like so far:
This week is brought to you by the letter Jj:
The StoryBots always make us laugh! We also read My J Book by Jane Belk Moncure. The author's name even begins with the letter Jj! Our J yoga pose is the "Jack-in-the-box." Ask me to show it to you.
During centers we played with the sand table and our new December sensory bin filled with beans and red and green pom poms.
We also got our pictures back from picture day. They all came out beautiful. Thank you, Miss Courtney!
Today was a fun-filled day! Can't wait to do it all again tomorrow!
